THE GREAT ALASKAN RACE MOVIE PREMIERE

Los Angeles, California – October 17, 2019

Director, Writer, and Producer Brain Presley bring us “The Great Alaskan Race”. The movie opens in theaters on October 25th, 2019. Based on a true story, In 1925’s historic great race of mercy, a group of brave mushers travels 700 miles to save the small children of Nome, Alaska from a deadly epidemic. The LA Premiere of The Great Alaskan Race was at the Arclight Hollywood and Blue Marble Cocktails was a sponsor on this incredible night. Blue Marble was on the step and repeat that all attendees posed for pictures and spoke to press along with being served at the afterparty.

The Great Alaskan Race is a based on a true story about a race in the 1925’s to get anti-toxin to Nome, Alaska to save all the children who were infected from dying. Leonhard Seppula and his 12-year-old lead dog Togo did an unprecedented 330 miles out of the 700 total in 5 days to get the serum and transport it back to Nome in -80 degree weather. Dogs and Mushers are told to never run past -40 below because it will kill a dog not to mention one should never run a 12-year-old dog in those conditions. Leonhard Seppula showed bravery and selflessness in hopes of saving his entire town. Most of the stories that people have read about this race have been about Balto, the lead dog that took the serum the last 50 miles to the town of Nome. This is the first time that the story of Togo and Balto share the heroic efforts that saved all the children from dying. This was really about the bravery of groups of mushers from around Alaska that were willing to sacrifice their dogs and themselves for the greater good of humanity.

Alan Miller, CEO and founder of Blue Marble Cocktails said, “We are honored to be a part of this movie premiere and share our family owned product with these amazing actors, producers, and crew. Being a part of prestigious events like this one shows to ourselves and our consumers the ultra-premium quality that we put out in every single one of our product lines.”

Hi Times

Newport Beach, CA

For the 13th year in a row, over a thousand Orange County locals converged upon Hi-Time Wine Cellars’ parking lot on Sunday, August 11th from 12-5 p.m. for the annual Charity Chili Cook-Off benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Central Orange Coast. This year’s theme was “Rockin’ Blues” and guests were encouraged to wear their favorite blues themed attire. Speaking of Blue, one of the favorite vendors from this year was Blue Marble Cocktails. It was Blue Marble’s first year supporting this charitable cause and with the incredible response they may be becoming a regular.

Attendees sampled chili and beverages from a wide variety of local businesses and organizations. Participating chefs competed for 1st through 4th place from a panel of esteemed judges along with People’s Choice Awards. The Slimtones & All Star Trio provided live entertainment. Danyelle Rabine, EVP of Blue Marble Cocktails, stated, “This event was remarkable. The Blue Marble Team won over the taste buds of event attendees and expressed that Blue Marble tastes better than the other alcohol and ready to drink vendors. They loved our family story, our commitment to giving back and repeatedly returned bringing friends to try the cocktails. We could not have asked for a better first time attending the Hi Times Chili Cook Off, but more importantly we were ecstatic to be involved in the local community and help give back to such an amazing cause.”

BLUE MARBLE HAD EVERYONE BRINGING THEIR “A GAME” AT THE 2019 YPCI CHARITY GOLF OUTING

YPCI Golf Charity

Indianapolis, IN

The YPCI Charity Golf Outing at Eagle Creek Golf Course was on May 31st. It was a great time networking with new friends while giving back to the community as YPCI raised funds for the Hawthorne Community Center. This is the largest young professional golf outing in the state of Indiana. With sponsors on every hole to interact with over 100 players were out to enjoy the event.

Through fundraising and the raffling off over $1200 worth of prizes YPCI was able to raise over $2,000 for Gleaners Food Bank in 2018. This year YPCI had an even larger dollar goal to raise money for a deserving charity on the west side of Indianapolis. They sold mulligans, string, and raffle tickets to help surpass the goal of $5,000 in charitable donations.

Blue Marble Cocktails was on the green serving its delicious cocktails featuring the flavors of: Cosmo, Bloody Mary, Marble-Rita, and Moscow Mule. Alan Miller, fellow Hoosier and founder of Blue Marble Cocktails said, “It is an honor to be able to give back and be involved in these local community events. YPCI was a great turnout of incredible people. To be able to raise funds for this deserving charity in Indiana feels good and is just one way we try to give back to the blue marble.”

About YPCI
It all started when a group of YPs back in 2000 had a vision to connect professionals and promote the value of networking at an earlier point in one’s career. Back then, there were around 30 members. A year later, the group officially took on the name “YPCI” and quickly grew to over 100 members. YPCI is all about helping create the brightest business future for central Indiana as possible. This is best accomplished through fostering positive business relationships and professional opportunities as young professionals. For more information visit YPCI.

About the Hawthorne Center
The mission of the Hawthorne Community Center is to provide or facilitate services and programs that meet the economic, educational, financial, social, recreational and civic needs of the entire Hawthorne Community.
